libsnmp-mib-compiler-perl software package provides a MIB Compiler supporting SMIv1 and SMIv2, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsnmp-mib-compiler-perl
libsnmp-mib-compiler-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsnmp-mib-compiler-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsnmp-mib-compiler-perl *
You will get with libsnmp-mib-compiler-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
